In a disused church in Barcelona’s city centre the Project proposes to turn the space into a community centre using the structure of the old building. The church’s lateral naves house the translucent concrete slab that creates spaces with views towards the central nave. The main façade is extended towards the street with a new glass façade which illuminates the interior and places new spaces.
